Apprentice Designer Required For Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Masterclass at the Theatre Royal Haymarket is looking for a young aspiring designer who would relish the opportunity to work with award winning designer Anthony Ward on Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Anna Friel and Joseph Cross.

Set in New York in 1943, a young writer from Louisiana, William ‘Fred’ Parsons meets Miss Holly Golightly, a charming, vivacious and utterly elusive good-time girl. Everyone falls in love with Holly, including William - but he is poor, and Holly needs rich. Will she marry Rusty, playboy millionaire? Or José, the future president of Brazil? As war rages in Europe, Holly begins to fall in love with William - and then her past catches up with her…..

This is an invaluable opportunity to work closely with Anthony on the stylistic demands of this production. This role would suit any emerging theatre / costume designer at the early stage of their career, looking to gain experience of a project on this scale.

Applicants are required to:

Have had some formal training or who have worked on at least two productions
Have shown an active commitment to the craft, by working in any type of theatre environment whether paid or unpaid
Have some experience of theatre design or costume
The postholder will gain experience of:

Design for a large scale West End production
Development of craft skills
Collaborating with the director apprentice and the technical apprentice on two lunchtime showcases at Theatre Royal Haymarket
