Owen Teale - Actors Masterclass

Owen Teale is one of Britain's most well recognised and well respected actors. In a career spanning 25 years, he has performed on both stage and screen to great critical acclaim.
During two seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company, roles included Hotspur in Henry IV, Mark Anthony in Julius Caesar and Edmund in King Lear. He played the title role in Ivanov by Chekhov at the National Theatre and created the role of Richard in The Country by Martin Crimp at the Royal Court. In 1997 he won the Tony Award for Best Actor and was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Laurence Olivier Theatre Awards, both for his performances in Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House.
In this event, Owen will use his extensive experience to work with four pairs of actors (4 girls and 4 boys) on a scene from Shakespeare's Macbeth. There will also be opportunity to ask questions.

Eight people will be chosen and paired together a few days before the workshop in order to give you the opportunity to meet with your prospective partners and run through the scene.
