He talked about his career and then discussed his ideas about directing comedy with a focus on the importance of timing, illustrating this with examples from his own shows and input from the audience.  Several actors went up on stage to work on pieces.

David talked about visual comedy being more immediate and guaranteeing more of a response.  Although verbal humour being more intelligent once given the chance to take it in and react to it.  He also gave advice on auditions and how important it is be on a casting directors list, even more than than that of an agents.
