Technical Apprentice Required For Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Masterclass at the Theatre Royal Haymarket is looking for a young aspiring technician or stage manager who would relish the opportunity to work with the company and production team on Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Anna Friel and Joseph Cross.

Set in New York in 1943, a young writer from Louisiana, William ‘Fred’ Parsons meets Miss Holly Golightly, a charming, vivacious and utterly elusive good-time girl. Everyone falls in love with Holly, including William - but he is poor, and Holly needs rich. Will she marry Rusty, playboy millionaire? Or José, the future president of Brazil? As war rages in Europe, Holly begins to fall in love with William - and then her past catches up with her…..

This is an invaluable opportunity to work closely with the company in providing support to the stage management team. This role would suit someone at the early stage of their career looking to become an ASM, DSM, Company Manager or Stage Manager, to gain experience of a West End scale production.

Applicants are required to:

Have had some formal training or who have worked on at least two productions.

Have shown an active commitment to the craft, by working in any type of theatre environment whether paid or unpaid.

Be willing and able to undertake responsibility for projects including prop sourcing/making, company management and running.

Work well in a pressurised environment and operate well within a team.
